One of the photographic highlights at outgoing wintertime is the Venice Carnival. I had the opportunity to participate in the hustle and bustle for two days. I believe nowwhere in the world, the protagonists are disguised for Carnival in detail so extraordinary as in Venice. It is a different carnival as in Germany or Brazil. Quiet and mysterious celebrate the actors with their costumes bygone era. And they enjoy it a lot, to stand model with facial expressions and gestures for all the many photographers and visitors.
In this video you can see my images as a documentary slideshow. All pictures are taken with the Olympus E-M1. Predominantly I use the M.Zuiko 14-150mm travelzoom, but also by low light the M.Zuiko 75mm single lens.
